These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CramHub. CramHub is operated by LifeSolutionApps (trading as "CramHub"), and by creating an account you are entering into an agreement with LifeSolutionApps and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province or state if higher, to create an account or use CramHub. By registering, you represent and confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at
lifesolutionapps@gmail.com of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
CramHub offers a Free plan with limited features and a Pro subscription at $4.99/month (USD/CAD as applicable) or $50/year, subject to change with advance notice.
Merchant of Record: Pro subscriptions are sold by LifeSolutionApps (trading as "CramHub"). Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on our behalf. Stripe handles payment processing, tax calculation, invoicing, and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe's Checkout Services Terms, which cover payment, billing, tax, and dispute mechanics.
Auto-renewal disclosure: Your subscription automatically renews for the same term at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period. Your payment method will be charged at the start of each renewal term. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings in the app or through the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We never receive or store your card details.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: upload content you do not have the right to use or share; use the Service to violate your institution's academic integrity or honor code policies; attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems (including our AI infrastructure); share your account credentials with others; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Academic Integrity
CramHub is a study and learning aid. You are solely responsible for using generated content in a manner consistent with your institution's academic integrity policies. We make no representation about whether any particular use complies with your school's rules and are not responsible for academic consequences arising from your use of the Service.
6. Your Content and License to Us
You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload or create ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant CramHub a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service, including displaying it to other members of a classroom you choose to share it with. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account, except for residual copies that may persist temporarily in routine backups.
7. Shared Classrooms
If you create or join a shared classroom, you acknowledge that classroom content (notebooks, notes, quizzes, flashcards) becomes visible to other active members of that classroom, as described in our Privacy Policy. Classroom owners are solely responsible for the content they choose to share. We are not responsible for disputes between classroom members regarding shared content.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and homework explanations are generated using artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should independently verify important information, particularly before relying on it for graded academic work or exam preparation. CramHub makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law (including certain consumer protection laws in Canada and some U.S. states).
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CramHub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection laws of Quebec or other Canadian provinces.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CramHub harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) Your Content; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that nothing in this section overrides any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own province or state of residence that cannot be waived by contract — including protections under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act or other applicable provincial consumer statutes.
14. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CramHub regarding the Service.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
