How to actually keep up with every assignment
The reason students miss deadlines usually isn't laziness — it's that the deadlines live in five different places: one syllabus PDF per course, a learning-management system, a group chat, and whatever you scribbled in a lecture. A tracker only helps if every date lands in one list, once.
- 1. Dump every syllabus in at the start of term. Scan each course PDF above. Five minutes at the start of a semester beats a panicked Sunday-night audit in week six.
- 2. Group by course, sort by date. This tracker does both automatically, so the next thing due is always the thing at the top.
- 3. Push it into your calendar. A list you have to remember to open isn't a system. Download the calendar file and your due dates show up where you already look every day.
- 4. Work backwards from exams, not forwards from today. Once exam dates are on the calendar, turn them into study sessions with the free study schedule generator — it takes the same deadlines and spaces study passes before each one. Do I need an account?
No. The tracker works with no signup and no email. An account is only useful if you want the list to follow you across devices, plus reminders and the rest of CramHub.
Is my syllabus stored?
No. The PDF is read once to pull out dates and is never saved. Only the assignment titles and dates you keep are stored, tied to a random ID in this browser.
Does it work with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar?
Yes. The download is a standard .ics file that imports into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook. Individual items also have a one-click "add to Google Calendar" link.
